Make Your 2027 Free Dining Count.

A UK family's guide to not wasting a single credit. From a UK DVC member who's done the 11am booking scramble more times than he'd like to admit.

If you've just booked a 2027 Walt Disney World package with the free dining offer, this is the short version of how to make sure none of those credits end up on a hotel-counter burger or quietly expire at checkout.

What's inside

  • Know what you've actually got — first. Plan names are changing for 2027, so don't rely on a forum post from last year. Five minutes here saves you hundreds in value.
  • Decide where the credits go before you fall in love. A table-service credit is worth far more at a signature restaurant or character meal than a mid-range buffet. Match your best credits to the bucket-list meals, not whatever's convenient on the day.
  • Map credits to days that already have a shape. Arrival day is light. Anchor dining to the park you're in. Rest days are for the longer, special meals. Only then slot specific restaurants in.
  • Win the booking morning. 11am UK time, 60 days out. Priority list in order — first, second, backup — for each meal. Headliner character meals go in minutes; have a plan B for each.
  • The week-before sanity check. Re-confirm every reservation. Count remaining credits against remaining nights so nothing gets stranded. Note the cancellation windows.
The honest truth: you can do all of this with a spreadsheet and a lot of evenings. That's where Florida Planned started. The full app — currently in friends-and-family testing — does the choreography for you: shape your days, drop your must-eat meals onto them, and it tells you what to book and in what order on the morning your window opens.
