A first Walt Disney World plan usually starts the same way: a blank page, fourteen empty days, and the quiet dread of not knowing which one should be Magic Kingdom. We built something to sit at exactly that moment. Her name is Flo, and she plans the trip with you — in plain English, out loud.

Flo has two sides. Bring her an itinerary you already have and she'll read it and map it onto your canvas — free, for everyone. Unlock a trip and she plans the whole thing with you, in conversation. Either way you land on the same trip canvas everyone else uses — a live, editable plan instead of an empty grid. Here's who Flo is, and how her free and full sides work.

Who Flo is

Flo is calm, quick, and quietly expert — the friend who's done this a hundred times and doesn't panic when you say you've left it late. She isn't a chatbot that lectures you about arriving before rope drop. She's a planning companion: you tell her the shape of the holiday you want, and she lays out the days, dining and rides to match — then talks it through with you.

The trick to a good brief is to talk to Flo the way you'd talk to that friend, not the way you'd fill in a form:

You: Two weeks from the 11th. Calmer second week, a character breakfast midweek, and please no rope drop the day after the water park.

Flo: Done. Magic Kingdom's on day two while everyone's fresh, days 9–14 are lighter with two pool afternoons, and I've pencilled Topolino's for Wednesday breakfast. Rope drop sits on day three, well clear of your water-park day. Want day four at EPCOT, or shall I hop it to Universal?

That's her personality in a nutshell: she does the work, tells you what she did and why, and hands the next decision back to you rather than steamrolling ahead. Change your mind halfway — "actually, move Animal Kingdom to day nine and give us a pool afternoon on day four" — and she reshapes what's already there instead of starting over.

Three things Flo will never do, on purpose:

  • She won't lecture. Flo is opinion-light by design. She suggests a slot, a park order, a sensible rest day — she doesn't tell you your holiday is wrong.
  • She won't book anything behind your back. Disney restaurant reservations still happen in My Disney Experience, by you. Flo builds and sequences the plan; the clicking on booking morning stays yours.
  • She won't lock you out. Everything Flo produces lands as ordinary canvas entries you can drag, retime or delete. She's a companion, not a cage.

Flo's free side: bring the plan you already have

Not everyone starts from nothing. Plenty of people have already spent an evening getting ChatGPT to draft a two-week itinerary, or they've got a plan from a forum thread, a travel agent's PDF, or last year's spreadsheet. That work shouldn't be wasted because it lives in the wrong place.

So Flo's free side is import — open to everyone, with no card, no sign-up wall, and no unlock required. Paste the text straight out of ChatGPT, or upload a document, and Flo reads it and maps it onto the canvas: the days and dates, which park each day belongs to, hopper and rest and travel days, the restaurants matched against the catalogue, the named rides. You land in a live plan in seconds and carry on from there.

She's honest about the limits. An itinerary written in plain English is never perfectly structured, so Flo maps what she can read confidently and clearly flags anything ambiguous for you to place. It's a running start, not a black box — you review the result before it becomes your canvas.

Flo's full side: she runs the whole planner

Unlock a trip and Flo works across the entire canvas in conversation. She'll build days from scratch, reshape them when you change your mind, slot dining and rides into the right places, and get you ready for the booking morning — all from what you tell her. This is where the back-and-forth in the exchange above lives.

The two sides answer the same question from opposite ends. "I don't know where to start" is Flo's full side: describe the holiday you want and she does the layout. "I've already started somewhere else" is her free side: bring what you've got and she maps it. Both sit at the very front of the planner, ahead of the four-phase workflow the rest of the app is built around — which hasn't changed. However you reach the canvas, you still shape the rhythm of the days, build a ranked dining wishlist, and walk into the 60-day booking morning with a priority list instead of a panic.

The pricing is worth stating plainly, because it's unusual. Bringing Flo an itinerary is free for everyone. Her full run of the planner is premium — but Florida Planned is a single one-off payment per trip (£14 at the launch price), and that one payment unlocks everything: all of Flo, the booking-morning surface, dining-plan credit tracking, printable summaries. There's no separate "AI tier" and no subscription. Flo's full side is rolling out to unlocked trips now.

FAQ

What is Flo? Flo is the conversational planning companion built into Florida Planned. Describe the Walt Disney World trip you want in plain English and she builds it with you — real day cards across the whole stay, with park days, rest days, dining and rides in place — then reshapes it as you change your mind.

Is Flo free? Meeting her is. Bring Flo an itinerary you already have and she'll read it and map it onto your canvas for nothing — no card. Her full run of the planner (building and reshaping the whole trip in conversation) comes with unlocking a trip: one £14 launch payment, which unlocks every premium feature, not just her.

What can I bring for her to read? Anything that reads like an itinerary — a ChatGPT conversation, a PDF, a Word document, a screenshot, or a copied forum thread. There's no template to follow.

Does Flo book my restaurants for me? No. Disney requires you to book through My Disney Experience yourself. Flo builds and sequences the plan and tells you what to book and when; you still do the actual booking.

What if Flo gets something wrong? Everything she produces lands as ordinary, editable canvas entries, and anything she can't place confidently is flagged rather than guessed. Flo suggests rather than dictates, so correcting her is the same tap-and-drag as building from scratch.

Flo is live now in the Florida Planned trip planner. Bring her an itinerary free, or unlock a trip and let her build the whole thing with you — one payment, every feature. No card needed to start planning.
